The Emancipation of Emily Rosenbloom was well-received at two South Bay book clubs this past month! We had delicious food and a good discussion about characters, especially Emily’s choices in the novel. I enjoyed and learned from peoples’ questions and feedback about Emily and some of the other characters.
One of my favorite questions was “Was there any particular character you found hard to write or develop?” I thought that was a great question, and I discovered something interesting: I found the male characters harder to write than the female characters.
